everyone who worked there was affable and great. this was my 2nd stay, they offered budget double room with nice balcony.

The breakfast was simple but delicious, and it was made fresh for us. the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean.

The rooms face the dining area, and it can get really noisy when people are cooking or talking late at night. It would have been nice to have some separation between the rooms and the dining area.

I recommend the place. The hotel was located right by the national parks, the garden and Costa Rica. I loved pancakes and eggs at breakfast. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, the beds were very comfy.

We had an amazing stay at Montefresco Boutique! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. They helped us book tours and gave great recommendations for things to do in the area. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the convenient kitchen and dining room. The breakfast was delicious and the outdoor space was adorable. Despite a few minor inconveniences like a faulty key and a slow shower, the exceptional service more than made up for it. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Monteverde!

The staff at this hostel were incredibly kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. the breakfast served was well done and satisfying, with fresh coffee available all day long. the small and clean rooms were perfect for our needs since we were out exploring most of the day. the option to use the freezer and common kitchen was convenient, and having a washing machine and dryer available made our stay even more comfortable.

One minor issue we encountered was that the key to our room did not work properly, and we needed assistance a few times to open the door. Another downside was the location of the hostel, which was a bit far from the village center and required an uphill walk of about 1.4 km.

The hosts were mind-blowingly helpful and friendly, giving us GREAT advice on tours and even giving us rides into town; the rooms were super clean, quiet, and pleasant to sleep in; the value for money was jaw-dropping, the best we had in Costa Rica.

The location was slightly out from the town, about a half an hour walk up and down hills. There could have been more space for clothes.

We also appreciated the option to use the common kitchen and the filtered water provided. a nice stay with friendly staff and clean rooms.
